Hotel Serenidad

Hotel rooms need floors swept but we overall clean and comfortable. It's a rustic stay and grounds are kept clean as well as the pool. The swim up bar with bartenders Juan and Eduardo was very nice. Friendly staff however we did check out towels and had to surrender an ID card. When we tried to return the towels the receptionist was gone for the evening without notice and we had to delay our scheduled departure until 630am when the receptionist finally returned. Communication by staff is a bit poor and making a reservation on the website is not the greatest of ease. You must call to get best service. Fun and friendly patrons stay here. Very laid back atmosphere and good drinks.

Just spent on night in our RV, but definitely plan to return for longer next year. Beautiful resort and the pool area is a perfect place to relax.

Ate at the restaurant and explored the grounds. Excellent food and service. The grounds are beautiful, but no good water access. A runway beside the hotel allows you to walk in from your plane. This place feels like a bit of Baja past, worth experiencing.

Most of the rooms look the same, one room with three beds and one bathroom. It has a pool with a swim up bar with excellent margaritas. It is right next to the river but it has a barbed wire fence between you and it. It has a restaurant with breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The fish sticks were delicious. They have a room with a pool table and ping pong, which is usually not too crowded. Overall, I would recommend this to most people.

This is a classic Mexican ranch- style motel in a palm grove in Mulege. The rooms are adequate, the food is excellent and it is just a lovely stop over for our trip driving down Baja.

Do yourself a favor and spend a day or two in this wonderful spot. It is a quaint little hotel with a restaurant, bar, pool, and some amazing history. The food was amazing and the service was outstanding. If your'e looking for a 5 star resort, and/or are a stuck up snob. This place is not for you, you need to remember you are in Mexico and things are different here. The rooms are clean, basic, with not tv's. For me that is a great thing. If you want to desconnect from the world, this is a great place to do it, and hey, if it was good enough for John Wayne, then it's good enough for you.

Authentic & original place with art paintings next to the river where you can take a pleasanr walk... Very peaceful... The staff smiled, were kind & helpful. I think it's a good idea to keep the Wi-Fi in the main building Sleep better without the Wi-Fi waves in the room

I stay here a full week. It was perfect for our trip. It was open every single day for the restaurant. The pool was lovely on the hot days and close to all the things we wanted to visit. There was housekeeping every single day, which was really nice to come back to after a long day at the beach.
